Batavia will soon welcome an addition to its recreational offerings as Pickled!, an indoor pickleball facility, prepares to open in mid-December at 301 N. Randall Road.

The venue will bring the nation’s fastest-growing sport to a spacious new location in the Wind Point Shopping Center.

Key things to know:

  • Location and size: The 34K-square-foot facility will feature 12 pickleball courts, sports simulators, ping pong tables, a members' lounge serving beer and wine, and a retail shop for gear and apparel.

  • Membership: Court rentals start at $12 per hour for members and $24 for nonmembers, with open play sessions costing $5 and $10 respectively. Membership plans range from $30 to $80 monthly.

  • Community focus: The owner has emphasized inclusivity and affordability, aiming to grow the sport by welcoming new players and offering lessons, tournaments and private events.

Pickled! is aimed at players of all skill levels as it helps the area keep up with the growing demand for pickleball.
