According to Shaw Local, a Batavia resident is facing serious legal trouble following a federal investigation into illegal gun sales.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) arrested 58-year-old Troy D. Mullins last week.
He is charged with gunrunning and unlawful sale or delivery of a firearm.
Authorities say he sold multiple guns between August and October 2024 without verifying required identification or adhering to the required waiting period.
