Voting is open for the sixth annual Illinois Manufacturers’ Association “March Madness” contest celebrating the “The Coolest Thing Made in Illinois.”

More than 250 products made in the Land of Lincoln have been nominated, running the gamut from industrial machinery and electric vehicles to candy, medical equipment and even a Ferris Wheel.

Several Tri-Cities businesses are competing — and they’d likely be thrilled to receive your votes.

How it works: Anyone can vote up to five times a day through March 16, and the Top 16 results will be announced March 18.

Next, a bracket-style tournament with head-to-head matchups will kick off and run until April 6.

An awards ceremony for the “The Coolest Thing Made in Illinois” crowning is planned at the Governor’s mansion on April 9.
