Local musicians and music fans now have a new tool to help them stay connected to the Tri-Cities’ vibrant live music scene. A website called Local Vibz launched in February, offering a central calendar of upcoming performances in the Tri-Cities and surrounding communities.
The site allows users to filter events by date, genre, venue, and artist. So far, more than 200 events have been published, with new listings appearing weekly. Participating venues include Preservation, FoxFire, Sidecar Supper Club, The Wine Exchange, and others.
Local musician Drew Clausen created Local Vibz as a way to bring more visibility to local performers and make it easier for residents to find live shows. In addition to the calendar, the site will also feature artist and venue spotlights to highlight local talent and establishments.
Clausen encourages venues and artists to create a free account and publish their upcoming shows directly to the platform. The goal is to make live music easier to find and support across the area.
Here’s where you can sign up and create events.
Local Vibz also maintains a Facebook page with regular updates and featured events. Residents interested in keeping up with the live music scene can bookmark the site and follow along on social media.
