Geneva’s Mill Creek Community Park will be getting some upgrades thanks to a $600K state grant that will fund a universally accessible playground and additional amenities.

A dedication event on October 26 celebrated the launch of the renovations:

  • Inclusive playground: The park will soon feature Geneva’s first playground designed to accommodate children with special needs.

  • Added amenities: New pickleball courts, fitness stations, bathrooms, a picnic shelter and expanded parking will make the park more versatile and welcoming.

  • Timeline: A public celebration is expected in the spring when renovations are final.
