Rising Lights Project to host ribbon-cutting ceremony in St. Charles

The Rising Lights Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities for individuals impacted by disabilities, is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its new community space.

The milestone will be celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 9, 2025 at 2015 Dean Street, St. Charles, marking a significant step forward in fostering a supportive and empowering environment for individuals and families impacted by disability. 

Attendees will hear from the founder, Jaimie Valentini, whose passion for advocacy and community support has been the guiding light behind the organization’s efforts. Attendees will also be given short tours of their new spaces. 

The new center is designed to be accessible and welcoming, offering sensory-friendly spaces and programming that caters to the needs of the community. It will host a variety of events, workshops, and resources that champion inclusivity, engagement, community and empowerment.
