Chris and Megan Curren, owners of The Graceful Ordinary in downtown St. Charles, plan to open their second restaurant in downtown Aurora in the spring.

Vicolo is currently under renovation in a 3,200-square-foot space and former art studio at 7 S. Broadway. The Italian-inspired restaurant will serve as a daytime café and transition into an elevated dining destination in the evening.

Chicago-based architecture firm Dunne Kozlowski partnered with the Currens on the design. The firm also designed The Graceful Ordinary and other concepts including the Adalina in Chicago’s Gold Coast and the cocktail bar Hubbard Inn in nearby River North.
