Local nonprofit Soul Sisters Give has announced a special initiative to celebrate National Children's Day on June 8, 2025. As part of their mission to support children in need, they organized a special collection drive for new and gently used Barbie-style dolls and action figures.
The goal is to bring joy to local children by providing them with toys that spark imagination and fun.
All collected items will be distributed to local children, benefiting organizations such as the American Red Cross, Lazarus House, Mutual Ground, Support Over Stigma, and more. It’s part of an effort to ensure that children in need feel special and celebrated on National Children's Day.
Soul Sisters Give invites community members to participate in this meaningful effort by donating dolls and action figures between April 12 and May 3.
