Mayor Lora Vitek, acting as Liquor Control Commissioner, enforced local ordinances for several businesses at the Dec. 16, 2024, hearing of the St. Charles Liquor Control Commission. The Commission considers alcohol, tobacco, and massage license issues.
Krish Ria Convenience/St. Charles BP, 1660, West Main Street, was cited on Nov. 21, 2024, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
SavWay Fine Wines & Spirits, 2580 East Main Street, was cited on Nov. 21, 2024, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
Aldi, Inc., 1200 North Kirk Rd, was cited on Nov. 21, 2024, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
Charles Hospitality, LLC / Hilton Garden Inn, 4070 East Main Street, was cited on Nov. 21, 2024, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
The Pride Stores, Inc / The Pride Stores St. Charles, 30W180 Butterfield Rd., was cited on Nov. 21, 2024, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years and failure to require adequate written evidence to serve a person over the age of 21 years. The licensee was fined $1,000 and issued $500 court fees.
Liquor "N' Wine, Inc / Liquor "N" Wine #2, 2460 West Main Street, Suite 100, was cited on Nov. 21, 2024, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
Ton-Ichi Ramen, 3843 East Main Street, was cited on Nov. 21, 2024, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years, failure to require adequate written evidence to serve a person over the age of 21 years, and service of alcoholic liquor by a juvenile not yet 18 years of age. The licensee was fined $1,000 and issued $500 court fees.
Xa Maly Thai, Inc / Maly Thai, 3825 East Main Street, was cited on Nov. 21, 2024, for serving alcoholic liquor to a person under the age of 21 years. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
Krisha Ria Convenience, Inc / BP Amoco, 1660 West Main Street, was cited on Nov. 20, 2024, for selling tobacco/alternative nicotine products to a minor. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
Charles BP, LLC / St. Charles BP, 1745 East Main Street, was cited on Nov. 20, 2024, for selling tobacco/alternative nicotine product to a minor. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
ZB Management/Z Smoke N Vape, 2045 Lincoln Highway, was cited on Nov. 20, 2024, for selling tobacco/alternative nicotine product to a minor. The licensee was fined $250 and issued $500 court fees.
“The City will continue to take a zero-tolerance approach to enforcing license violations for selling liquor or tobacco/alternative nicotine to minors,” said Mayor Vitek.
