Batavia MainStreet and Water Street Studios are seeking applicants for the upcoming Winterfest Art Market, a holiday market featuring fine art and handmade items from artists, artisans and makers.

Applications opened on May 18 and will close on July 15, with vendors selected by August 1.

The Winterfest Art Market will take place from Friday, November 8, through Sunday, November 10, at Water Street Studios and The Dock (150 First St.) in downtown Batavia. Visitors can expect drinks, food, and live entertainment throughout the weekend.

Last year's vendors praised the event for its unique and local vendors, steady traffic, and well-designed space.

"Winterfest is a great event that is curated with unique and local vendors that specialize in handmade items,” Jennifer from Two Barks & A Howl. “Traffic was steady with lots of people coming to check out the multiple sections of the gallery and find something that suited their needs and tastes."
